Light My Paths

This digital print is for this week's Word Art Wednesday challenge. I LOVE this Bible verse--the imagery that is contained in it is inspiring! Christ is not only the Light of the World, He is my personal light to light my way. I know that He lives, He loves me, and He will stand by me through thick and thin. I need not fear or be confused where to turn--I only need to turn to HIM and HE will give me light!

Sorry this is so short--it's very late and I'm getting this in under the wire! Feel free to print this for PERSONAL USE ONLY. :) Just click to enlarge, save, and print! If you have any concerns about use, please see the disclosure policy at the bottom of my blog. Thanks and have a fabulous day!

Word Art Wednesday: Job 19:25

The scripture over at Word Art Wednesday this week is Job 19:25. This is a very thought provoking scripture. Here's what it made me think:

I know that MY Redeemer lives! That's right. I have a personal Savior who knows EVERY hurt, EVERY care, EVERY worry, EVERY sorrow, EVERY sin, but also EVERY joy, EVERY good work I perform, EVERY loving act bestowed upon me, and EVERY good gift is from HIM. I am so blessed! We all are! We all have the same Savior, but He is our personal Savior as well!

I Know That My Redeemer Lives

I know that my Redeemer lives;
What comfort this sweet sentence gives
He lives, He lives who once was dead
He lives, my everliving Head
He lives to bless me with His love
He lives to plead for me above
He lives, my hungry soul to feed
He lives to bless in time of need.

He lives to grant me rich supply
He lives to guide me with His eye
He lives to comfort me when faint
He lives to hear my soul's complaint.
He lives to silence all my fears
He lives to wipe away my tears
He lives to calm my troubled heart
He lives all blessings to impart

He lives, my kind, wise, heavenly Friend
He lives and loves me to the end
He lives, and while He lives I'll sing
He lives, my Prophet, Priest and King
He lives and grants me daily breath
He lives and I shall conquer death
He lives, my mansion to prepare
He lives to bring me safely there.

He lives, all glory to His name
He lives, my Savior, still the same
Oh sweet the joy this sentence gives
I know that my Redeemer lives
He lives, all glory to His name
He lives, my Savior, still the same
Oh sweet the joy this sentence gives
I know that my Redeemer lives.

Here is my submission for this wonderful verse~

I am also submitting this to the Little Birdie Blessings Scripture Thursday challenge: God's Love. The greatest act of God's love was to send His Only Begotten Son to save the rest of His children from sin. What an amazing Father! I hope you like the print.

You can click on it to enlarge it, save it, and print it--it is yours FREE! Please just follow the guidelines of my Printing Policy, found at the bottom of this blog. Blessed creating!!!

Word Art Wednesday: Nehemiah 8:10

Hello! Welcome back to my blog! This week over at Word Art Wednesday, they've given us the inspiration of Nehemiah 8:10. "The joy of the Lord is your strength." I love that! We can have joy in our lives no matter our circumstances because of the Lord! He is our strength!

I have been going through a lot of issues the past few years, and each time I try to fix things, it seems I make them worse. I have been trying so hard to act like a true Christian and be more Christ like, but I feel that I'm continually failing. WHY?! I've seriously tried.

I've sought council from God. I've sought council from my righteous and wonderful husband. I've sought council from my loving and fantastic parents. I've sought council from loving and Christian friends. To what feels like no avail.

So rough. Never being good enough. Never seeming to say the right thing or do anything that is okay. But you know what? I realized that I've been allowing others to tell me how to feel! I've been allowing others to make me second guess what the Lord wants me to do! I DO NOT have to do that! I can rejoice in the joy of the Lord and gain strength from His Atonement. I am good enough--if I'm trying my hardest to become like Christ! None of us are perfect--and that's okay! I just have to try each day to do a little better and to fix things the way Christ would, and I can find strength through my Savior!

This scripture came at a perfect time for me. I NEEDED it. Thank you, ladies! I now have a perfect printable to frame and put up to remind me that I can find joy in the strength of the Lord.

Oh, and so can YOU! Just click it to enlarge and then save. And then print! ;) Happy printing!!!
